For CitiCapital, CitiGroup's leasing arm, we documented the IT Department’s processes and their compliance to CitiGroup’s 10 IT policies in areas such as Disaster Recovery, System Upgrades and Information Security.
By completing this document set, we enabled them to pass an audit that they had previously failed.
For Exxon, we documented the design and ways of working for their new Customer Service Centre.
Our documentation showed the design for the Call Centre after substantial process re-engineering. Working as part of a large international team, we also produced training and implementation plans.
Q1 produced a Business Management Assessment for Nortel’s Customer Services Department.
Information was gathered through desk research and by interviewing directors, senior managers and operations staff. This comprehensive report covered all aspects of the department's business.
Working at the PSV site in Eindhoven, Netherlands, we produced ‘to be’ Business Process Descriptions for this major electronics manufacturer. These illustrated the new way of working following the introduction of SAP into the business.
Premier is the home of Britain's most famous brands, such as Branston Pickle, Bird's Custard and Mr Kipling. They asked us to produce Business Process diagrams, and their associated descriptions, prior to a major SAP implementation.
During the blueprinting and implementation phase of the project, we created a number of corporate templates, managed the creation of many data governance processes and documented their Trade and Marketing Spend System.

Businesses introducing SAP to their workplace can benefit from Q1's experience.
SAP implementations are large, complex exercises and involve many people with diverse skills. Analysing and documenting new business processes and procedures, and then training staff, are tasks regularly left until the last moment when inappropriate people have insufficient time to cover too many topics adequately.
As a result, new and complex systems are not presented, or supported, in the best possible way.
